The deburring station for green parts in the ROBOWORKER system features a precise Z/R axis system with a receiving table for all standard sinter trays, as well as an X-axis with a precision-engineered brush strip. Optionally, the station can be expanded to up to four brush strips with different bristle configurations, eliminating time-consuming changeovers between jobs.
A combination of height-adjustable air blow nozzles with programmable pressure and high-performance extraction devices ensures that no particles remain on the parts or trays during the deburring of green parts . The processed tray can then be fed directly to the sintering furnace.
All movements are driven by stepper and servo motors, allowing flexible parameterization of key process settings such as feed, speed, cycles, direction, angle, and rotation. The adjustable dynamics of the X-axis allow even the smallest green parts to be deburred without shifting.
The deburring area is fully enclosed and equipped with a protective hood, which reliably contains dust during the process.
The deburring station can be operated fully automatically – optionally via a magazine system with up to 14 levels or a stacker system, with or without transport carts.
Both automation solutions include an integrated inspection area, where the deburred and pre-edge honed green parts can be checked directly.
