RoboInspect RIS inspection machines ensure dimensional accuracy and quality inspection of workpieces down to the micrometer range. They are perfectly suited for automated quality control of indexable inserts and other delicate small parts across various industries, including automotive, electronics, medical technology, consumer products, and more.
By utilizing Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) and artificial intelligence (AI), you achieve continuous improvement in product quality. Human errors in optical quality control are eliminated, significantly increasing customer satisfaction.
See for yourself the benefits of automated inspection with our new AI-enabled inspection machine, RIS SPECIAL EDITION, now available at exceptionally attractive conditions.
Besides the RIS SPECIAL EDITION, you’ll find more models in our RIS 30 and RIS 300 series.
The RIS 300 inspection system provides comprehensive inspection of parts. The RIS 30 series offers selected features and can be easily upgraded to RIS 300.
In this video, you can experience the optical quality inspection of indexable inserts using the RoboInspect RIS 300.
Additionally, it demonstrates how high autonomy times are achieved through automated tray feeding.
The proven ROBOWORKER Master reliably detects deviations from trained reference parts. It can optionally be combined with an AI module , which can even identify defects in previously unknown products, depending on the number of trained parts.
We look forward to presenting our inspection machines to you in more detail. As your competent partner, we are ready to address your needs and requirements. Please contact us.
The compact RIS SPECIAL EDITION processes an entire tray of parts fully automatically. Designed for measuring and inspecting a wide range of components, it can optionally be upgraded with an AI module. Complete traceability of defects is ensured through the storage of images and inspection results.
With the integrated palletizing function, inspected parts can be placed into different carrier systems, such as boxes.
The system is operated via a menu-guided 19” touchscreen.
It also features an interface for an automatic tray change system, allowing the processing of whole tray stacks.
The RIS 30 P can automatically process an entire pallet of test pieces without additional component handling, making it ideal for efficient inspection of small and large samples. The pallet is manually loaded into the RIS 30 P as standard.
The RIS 30 P measures the geometric data of the workpiece from above. It detects whether types of workpieces have been mixed in an order. Additionally, it inspects edges and the surface of the workpiece. Surface inspection includes analysis of relief and color.
To achieve higher autonomy, the pallet change in the RIS 30 P can be handled by a cobot, for example. The ROBOWORKER measuring and inpspection pallet is stackable, enabling the cobot to process entire stacks of pallets.
Upon request, customer-specific inspection technology can also be integrated.
The compact RIS 30 RT station is designed for creating highly productive workstations, e.g. in the finishing of PVD-coated indexable inserts.
Prior to entering the station, manual unloading and barcode scanning take place. Subsequently, the parts are placed onto the rotary table of the RIS 30 RT where they are automatically measured, inspected, and laser marked. Afterwards, operators place the parts directly into end packaging boxes.
Similar to the RIS 30 P, the RIS 30 RT conducts efficient quality control, including dimensional accuracy, type recognition, edge inspection, and surface examination (relief and color).
The precision sensor, for instance, is used to inspect PKD/CBN indexable inserts. Even small defects in diamonds can impact quality and lifespan, underscoring the importance of thorough inspection.
The RIS 300 inspection machines are designed for measuring and inspecting a variety of workpieces. They also feature an integrated palletizing function, allowing inspected parts to be palletized into trays, plastic boxes, blisters, or other carriers.
Defective parts are separated for further analysis by the inspection automation.
The RoboInspect RIS is expandable with automatic processing of tray stacks, laser marking , and packing modules.
The base system of the RoboInspect RIS 300 allows for the manual loading of a tray with workpieces, which are then automatically processed. Good parts are palletized into a second carrier system.
Automate the RoboInspect RIS 300 inspection machine with automatic loading and unloading!
In this version, the base system is automatically loaded and unloaded by a robot stacker. The robot stacker features up to 6 positions, a 3-axis robot system, and an interface to the inspection system.
The base machine RoboInspect RIS includes the features described previously.
A laser module for various types of marking is attached to the base unit of the RIS 300.
The base machine RoboInspect RIS includes the features described previously.
Expandable with automatic processing of stacks as described above.
This special solution is particularly suitable for measuring and inspecting indexable inserts and round tools.
In addition to measuring and inspecting the parts, the system also handles, lids, and labels the final packaging boxes.
