Automated Drilling Station RDS with double conveyor belt system High autonomy with buffer function

The automated RDS drilling systems with a dual conveyor belt system can buffer multiple carrier plates with sinter trays . Each carrier plate transports one empty and one full sinter tray. The handling system includes an integrated lifting unit, which automatically brings each carrier plate with trays into the loading/unloading position.

Operation of the automated RDS drilling systems with a dual conveyor system is managed via a 19" touchscreen with a modern HMI, along with a mobile handheld terminal for teach-in operations.

The system features an innovative design with an integrated control cabinet and optimal accessibility.

  • NC-controlled drilling spindles from above and below, operating at different speed ranges
  • Freely programmable drilling axis (Z)
  • Freely programmable X and Y axes, e.g., for two drill holes
  • Product-specific clamping units with hold-down devices for precise positioning of the green part
  • Special devices for extracting metal dust during the drilling process and cleaning the green part after drilling
  • Optional swivel axis for drilling at angles from -45° to 45°
  • Optional camera systems for inspecting and measuring the borehole
