ROBOWORKER delivers its first AI-enhanced compacting cells

Our product portfolio includes proven measuring and inspection machines. We’ve successfully transferred this tried-and-tested technology to our compacting cells, enabling the integration of advanced image processing modules. These modules perform in-process inspection of green parts and die contamination, significantly reducing scrap production.

The system evaluates parts — even those it has never seen before — based on defined defect criteria and automatically stops production if necessary. With this technology, the cleaning cycles for the dies can be optimized, further increasing productivity.

Looking ahead, we will integrate even deeper machine responses based on these insights, taking automation and process reliability to the next level.

The ROBOWORKER RP ejection press can be combined with the full range of ROBOWORKER automation systems to form an RPC compacting cell. These automation solutions have been tried and tested over decades and are available in fully customized versions for every customer need. The RPC compacting cell is operated via a single control system, ensuring maximum productivity.

The compacting cell offers an impressive range of functions and a host of brand-new features. Despite its capabilities, operation is menu-guided and, thanks to semi-automated programming, remarkably easy to use.
